A relic of an American liner, made from high-pressure composite material. It was produced by MSA (Mine Safety Appliances). The inner liner is partially present, although incomplete. Numerous penetrating and tearing impacts are visible both on the liner and on the remaining parts of the fairing. The right-hand side is missing in several places. Approximately 50% of the khaki paint has been preserved. The leather chinstrap is missing. This piece, heavily marked by the fighting, is a direct witness to the Battle of Bastogne. There is pronounced wear and authentic patina, typical of a field item. Condition II+. Relic of a US liner made of highpressure composite material.
