ROMAN BRONZE FIGURINE OF A HORSE ON A PODIUM. Ca. AD 1 - 200. A solid-cast bronze figurine representing a standing horse positioned on a separately cast, flaring podium base. The animal is shown with well-defined musculature, a loosely hanging tail, and erect ears. The head is slightly lowered, with a thick neck and a broad harness collar.
