ROMAN BRONZE FIGURINE OF BULL ON PEDESTAL.
Ca. AD 1 - 300.
A solid-cast bronze figurine of a standing bull with a stocky body, slender legs, a prominent dewlap, and a hump over the shoulders. The head is crowned with short, upward-projecting horns. The animal stands on a rectangular base with a moulded edge, which rests on a separately cast, flared pedestal with concave sides and stepped feet.
