ROMAN BRONZE FIGURINE OF EATING MOUSE. Ca. AD 1 - 300. A finely cast bronze figurine of a mouse depicted seated upright with forepaws clasping a round object held to its mouth. The ears are large and rounded, the eyes slightly recessed, and the tail curves upwards. The body is rendered with incised lines to suggest fur texture.
