ROMAN BRONZE IMPERIAL EAGLE. Ca. AD 1 - 200. A solid cast bronze figure of an eagle standing upright with wings folded and pressed to the sides of the body. The head is turned slightly to the left, with a hooked beak and incised eyes. The body is rendered with detailed plumage on the chest and wings.
