ROMAN GLASS INLAYS WITH FIGURE AND INSCRIPTION. Ca. AD 1 - 200. A group of three mosaic glass inlays, each fragment composed of brightly coloured opaque glass fused within a dark matrix. The largest includes the upper body of a ram, positioned beside a decorated orb and a band with inscription. One smaller fragment preserves a frontal human face with stylised red hair, while the third contains a floral motif in white, yellow, and green. For similar see: C. S.
