ROMAN HIGH KARAT GOLD RING WITH DOUBLE BEZEL WITH SCRIPT ΕΥΤΥΧΕΙ ΕΝΔΕΛΕΧI. Ca. AD 300. A heavy 21 kt gold ring with two opposed navette-shaped bezels, each set with a nicolo engraved with Greek inscriptions. The bezels read ΕΥΤΥΧΕΙ and ΕΝΔΕΛΕΧΙ, framed within a finely detailed gold mount of radiating and scroll-shaped elements. The thick hoop is ridged with fluted ribs.
