ROMAN HIGH KARAT GOLD SNAKE-SHAPED RING. Ca. 30 BC - AD 200. A gold ring formed from a thin wire spiralled into two full coils. One end terminates in a stylised serpent head, with incised details indicating eyes, while the other end forms a small loop representing the tail. For similar see: E. M.
