ROMAN SILVER-GILT RING WITH BUST OF SERAPIS. Ca. 100 BC - AD 100. A silver-gilt ring with a broad, flat-sectioned hoop widening slightly at the shoulders, which are incised with diagonal grooves. At the bezel is a high-relief bust of Serapis, depicted with curled hair and beard, and wearing a modius on the head. The torso is bare, and the features are finely modelled.
