Everything works. The clutch works very well. It's an atypical original assembly: the pedal has a 2 cm travel and that's normal. The cooling system needs servicing. A very nice car. The car was manufactured in 1937 as a 2-door cabriolet and coupé. Engine power was increased to 19 bhp. It was called a "super 5" even though it was only a 4 CV. It has a 3-speed gearbox and mechanical cable brakes on all 4 wheels. It has a top speed of 90 km/h. It comes in 2 finishes: standard and luxury. This one is the luxury finish. It has wheel trims, front and rear bumpers and wraparound wings. The Rosengart won all the elegance awards of the day, and all this was combined with excellent technical qualities, excellent comfort and impeccable roadholding - for its time! Its inimitable silhouette, with its very short wheelbase, makes it instantly appealing. You immediately appreciate its lightness (670 kg!). This car hasn't been driven much by its current owner, but at the same time it got off to a flying start (see video). It's an excellent car to start a pre-war collection, as it's easy to use and maintain. This Rosengart, in good body and mechanical condition, is very reasonably priced and should please the most discerning collector.
