It bears the album title '''' (Ruishi ji you, Journey to Switzerland), the signature ' (Yuan), and the seal ''[''] (Daqian [ling']). The brown monochrome slipcase is signed '''' (Daqian jushi). The album and slipcase bear a dedication to ''(Zijie), nickname of Guo Youshou (Kuo Yu-Shou, ''', 1901-1978).The front of the album shows a continuous landscape over twelve and a half pages, a landscape punctuated by mountains, forests, dwellings and characters, followed by an inscription extending over two and a half pages. These inscribed pages bear the signature '(Yuan), and the seals '' (Fa jiang) on the penultimate page and '''' (Zhang yuan si yin) on the last page. The verso bears inscriptions on all the pages, each one going from double-page to double-page (the first set of double-pages is not painted).
