Lot no. 56
Chinese white porcelain figure. The two main seated figures appear to be dressed in traditional Chinese clothing. They are facing each other, with a small table between them, on which is a square object that looks like a game board. To one side, a smaller standing figure, perhaps a child or servant, is also dressed in traditional robes and appears to be assisting the seated figures. The small rabbit at their feet adds a touch of charm and may symbolise longevity or prosperity. Qian-long period. 18th century. Dimensions: 15x16x8 cm. Loss of a small figure.
