STATUETTE OF HARPOCRATES Bronze with green patina. Height 12 cm Egypt, Third Intermediate to Late Period, circa 795-334 BC Provenance Former private collection French private collection, in the same family since the 1980s Seated figure, feet resting on a qaudrangular plinth. The child Horus is naked, wearing a skullcap flanked by the uraeus and the wick of childhood. Beautifully preserved. An Egyptian Bronze seated Harpokrates. Third Intermediate Period to Late Period, ca. 795-334 B.C.
