Chinese famille rose porcelain "quail" bottle vase. Decorated with a continuous scene around the outside depicting two quails in a pavilion garden with overhanging rose branches, daisies and rocks, the neck is decorated on a turquoise background with stylised lotus flowers borne on leafy scrolls and golden shou figures with peaches and bats. The base bears a six-character seal mark in iron red. 20th century. Height: 40 cm. Perfect condition.
