A VUE : 52,5 x 90 CM - 20,6 x 35,4 IN. William Collingwood Smith, a member of the Old Water Colour Society from 1843, travelled both in England and on the Continent from 1850, particularly in France. His sojourns inspired a number of French views, including Notre-Dame, Paris and L'Eglise Saint-Rémy, rue Thomas Bouchard in Dieppe, a watercolour in the Musée municipal de Dieppe.
