Yoann Conte
Framed chef's jacket
Yoann Conte, born in 1974 in Brest, grew up in Chamonix-Mont-Blanc, where he cultivated his passion for cooking, inspired by his family's conviviality. After studying at the hotel school in Thonon-les-Bains, he trained alongside renowned chefs such as Marc Veyrat and Thierry Marx. In 2005, he became head chef at the Fitz Roy, before heading up Les Jardins du Mont-Blanc in 2006. His career took a turn for the better in 2009, when he was awarded several distinctions, including his first Michelin star in 2011 at the Maison de Marc Veyrat. In 2013, he was awarded a second star, and in 2021, he received 5 toques from Gault & Millau. His cooking style is characterised by a creative approach that respects local produce and highlights the flavours of the mountains.
